Camping joy at the water’s edge!

Jølster Panorama is open all year round, and during the summer season we have plenty of space for motorhomes, caravans and tents. In summer, the service building is open 24/7, with showers, toilets and a kitchen. Our sauna is also ready for anyone who wants to warm up after a refreshing swim in the lake.

The site is located just a few minutes from glaciers, Astruptunet and beautiful hiking opportunities, making it a perfect starting point for experiences in Sunnfjord. Long, bright summer evenings give you plenty of time to enjoy life by the water.

Practical information:

• Emptying is available on the bend towards the service building by the water, marked with a grate in the ground.
• The pipe for emptying chemical toilets is located next to it.
• For water refill, use the room marked “sløserom”.
• A hose for water refill is also available there.

Welcome to summer camping with us.

When you arrive at the campsite, you will find a phone number you can call for check-in. During the summer season, we recommend booking your pitch in advance, especially in July and during the joint holiday period. If you have not booked ahead, you are still very welcome to contact us when you arrive.

From 11–13 June 2026, anglers from all over the country gather for Jølster Aurefest, the annual fishing competition.

Lake Jølstravatnet is a paradise for sport fishing. The festival brings together around 2,000 participants of all ages, and offers just as much excitement for beginners as for experienced anglers. In the main competition, the goal is to get as close as possible to the secret ideal weight, with great prizes up for grabs.

Jølster Panorama is located right by Lake Jølstravatnet, so you can walk straight from your motorhome or cabin to your fishing spot.
